My dear Dr. Gezelle,
I wrote to Mr. Purdon Clarke as soon as I received your last note (I am no longer Librarian)[1] and received yesterday an answer to the effect that he cannot get any one to take the lot, and will therefore return them. I have given him M. C. Delaere's address[2]
I myself do not attach much importance to the collection which however would be interesting in a Technical Museum & might perhaps fetch 300 francs. We have all been very busy & worried with the Parliamentary enquiry into the Museum. I expect to come to Belgium before this month comes to an end, & shall hope to see you
My wife desires her kindest remembrances & hopes, as I do, that you dont forget us in your prayers
Yours sincerely
W H James Weale
