My dear Father Gezelle
Don’t trouble yourself about Mrs Ryan‘s letter I will tell you all when we meet. I never mentioned your name once she came here furious this morning fancying Mary had spent the day with me yesterday. she had notp2I never lost patience with her though she broke a glass dish in her rage & we certainly had a scene both Mary, Emily & George began to cry so I leave you to guess! — I feel a little ill after the affair is over on account of her tongue but I suppose I must bear it & I can fight my ownp3battles! —
God bless you for a Priests life is a very trying one! Pray for
Your dutiful child
Cecilia S Galbraith.
Give George your blessing & a mouthful of advice
he leaves tomorrow
