My dear father
Emily[1] tells me that she was to have been at St Walburge's[2] at four o'clock this afternoon, and as she cannot do so I have told her that I would let you know.
I have arranged to let her go every Saturday afternoon as I think it more convenient for all parties.
I have been much better lately and was able to go top2Holy Communion on the Wednesday after your visit for which I thank you very much. I don’t know whether I shall be able to keep All Saints, but I think not
I hope dear father you pray for me, as this long expectation makes me anxious and I fear despondent
I remain
dear father
ever yours affectionately
Helena. A. Weale
