Monday.
Rev & dear Sir,
Your note with its enclosure has come safely to hand. I have paid the Prie Dieu 110 francs for which I enclose the auctioneer's receipt.[1] I will have it packed & send it by Boosere on Wednesday.
You do not say what you wish me to do with regard to the Triptych. Therefore I will keep it by me until I see or hear from you. I should strongly advise you to have it completed & make a good job of it. The whole together would be very handsome.
As yet I have heard nothing about Either the Kings arrêté[2] or the Jerusalem Knighthood.[3]
Wishing you a happy Lent
I am
Ever yours sincerely
