I cannot sufficiently thank you for your kind, consolating and encouraging letter, likewise for your extreme goodness in thinking of me, and offering for me to the Most High your holy prayers, that they have been heard I cannot for one instant doubt, for alas! mine have been so irregular that I began to fear that my Holy Faith was dying within me. -
I hope to recommence with fresh energy when it pleases God to restore me to health, I had hoped to hear Mass yesterday, but was unable, besides forbidden to go out by my Husband.p2In the meantime I will strictly follow your wise counsels, and wait with patience the Divine will, who orders all things for the best, and I received your letter, and treasure it as coming from Him who as you say turns evil into good.
